In its second year the programme engaged artists and designers from around the UK, Korea, and South America. The programme encouraged international residents to develop sustainable and progressive practice through a series of critiques; presentations; self-initiated outcomes; a group show; and information interviews.
The information interviews particularly encouraged residents to explore the visual arts sector in Glasgow through dialogue and collaboration with notable practitioners based in city, creating a system of shared knowledge and better practice.
The programme will conluded in May 2013 with the presentation of new paintings and sculptural works by Luna Jeung Lee and Alejandra Contreras at Wasps Hanson Street Gallery as well as the development of a new range of high quality paper jewellery from designer Lisa Catterson.
MANY Studios Graduate Residency Programme 2012/13 was supported generously by Wasps.
